Gallery Exhibition: Sacred Geometry

acrylic paintingAncient geometry-based art and architecture, also called “sacred geometry”, is a method of studying and mapping archetypal patterns designs and structures that manifest in our organic world. Sourced in natural forms, from macrocosmic to microcosmic, each specific geometric diagram symbolizes an archetypal relationship, [or constellation of relationships] which reveals to us the nature of that form and its vibrational resonance when we interact consciously with it. What is being symbolized and experienced is reality, and the fundamental interrelationships between different observed forms.

Margaret Lindsey

Margaret Lindsey understands "art" as a verb--an action taken to inquire into the nature of the cosmos, a mechanism for processing personal experience and potentiating healing--an ancient human technology.

Her personal artmaking is always channeled through her body, and intimately twined with the awareness of universal interconnectedness.

To her, artmaking is like sunlight and breath—it is necessary nourishment for life.
